Please do pop over to my spoiler thread and vent your spleen. I'm not liking the book so far and I'm wondering what other ppl hate about it. To me it's reading like mediocre fanfic. =/

Well you beat me by almost two hours. Took me about 6 and a half to finish it. I knew about Dumbledore dying. It had been leaked quite some time ago and it just made sense. I knew JK would want Potter alone in the last book to face Voldemort. I was surprised about Snape though. He's always been one of my favorite characters just because he's so complex. Having him murder Dumbledore was a bit of a disappointment, but life goes on I suppose. I hope the last novel isn't as cheesy as it's looking like it could be. This whole novel was filled with references to love and how love will be what conquers Voldemort. All the happy couples and lovey doveyness could get nauseating.
